It goes without saying that we need people on stage. So if you can sing, dance, act (or all three!) we want to hear from you.  You don't need to be experienced, just enthusiastic. Don't worry about performing, we've all been there and we'll support you however we can. We don't just want people to be centre stage though, we really need people for the chorus too, as they are the backbone of the society. We are currently struggling with choreography, and as most of our members have no training, this could be a challenging role for you. The plus side is that there will be no complex routines needed!

As you can imagine, without adequate lighting or sound, the performers might as well not be there, so we are also on the look-out for people to help out with our sound and lighting desks. If you have an interest in this area, we'd love to hear from you. As we don't have a theatre base of our own, we often run into problems in the local Village Hall set-ups and need people who can think on their feet. We already have a sound engineer on board, who has experience with lighting, but many hands make light work - excuse the pun!

Although we have our own pianist, we are always on the lookout for people to join us for our performances. Depending on your instrument and level of expertise, we can even work around you, fitting you in appropriately.  Sadly we can't pay at the moment, but may be able to offer expenses. Experience of Musical Theatre isn't necessary, but it'd be great if you have a keen interest in the genre or swing music. If you can sing and play, even better! We are often lucky enough to have the services of a drummer, but would love to expand our little band!

Are you a visionary, bursting with creative ideas and a passion for bringing stories to life on the stage? If so, we want YOU to be a part of CMT. We've been writing and directing our own shows for many years now, and while we have been quite successful, we always need people with vision to help us produce our shows. We aren't in a position to pay for big shows currently, so need more input from creative people. So, if you fancy a go, and have some ideas, let us know.

We always need people to help us to produce sets.  Whether that be working with the director on the initial design, building, or painting, every show needs the appropriate scenery to convey a mood. The sets have to multi-task so good design is paramount. If you are good at problem solving and 3D Tetris, we'd love to hear from you. Our main problem is lack of space to perform in and store our sets, so we have to make the designs fit the task by re-using wherever possible. We occasionally need to move the sets from one place to another, so if you have a van and a spare couple of hours twice a year, we'd be very grateful.

Always a tricky subject, no one wants to talk about money. However, you can't run an amateur group without funds, and lately, due to one thing or another, we are finding it more and more difficult to put on the kind of shows we'd like to.  We need people who have ideas and drive to help us achieve our goals.
